The basic game will be shipped in the Wave 1. All other items (expansions, add-ons, etc.) will be shipped later – in the Wave 2.
A separate shipping fee will be charged for each shipping wave, calculated by the package weight (using customary units - oz):
<17oz (~0,5kg) = $18 <35oz (~1,0kg) = $20
<52oz (~1,5kg) = $22 <70oz (~2,0kg) = $24
<88oz (~2,5kg) = $26 <105oz (~3,0kg) = $28
<123oz (~3,5kg) = $31 <141oz (~4,0kg) = $33
<158oz (~4,5kg) = $35 <176oz (~5,0kg) = $37
>176oz (>5kg) = $41
Latest Updates from Our Project:
Production status
– Fri, Feb 18, 2022 at 08:46:59 PM
Just today, we have received the first batch of boards and boxes for AoD:WWII from the Inprint printing house.
The remaining quantities of boards and boxes will be delivered to us in the next few days.
There was a delay because the printing house had to send a machine necessary for production for overhaul, which lasted for several weeks.
------
In the past few years, we have significantly expanded our production capacities. We have enough space, we have acquired several important machines and tools, all the employees are well-trained and work well as a team, so the production is continuing at the planned pace. Although there is a shortage of some raw materials on the market, we currently do not have any major problems in the production process. The game AoD2 is similar to the previous one (AoD1), so we already have most of the necessary tools. All the plastic parts have already been delivered to us and we have finished packing them into zip bags. Earlier, we announced that the altitude stands with printed markings were finished, which could have been a problem, but everything went according to plan.
However, our team of authors (Predrag and Dragan) is a little behind with their part of the work. This is partly due to covid which affected us the most the previous fall, but the main reason is our obligation to deliver Panzer Strike games before we ship the rewards from this project. Some backers know what problems we have been facing during the completion of this older project. We wrote on the main Kickstarter page of the AoD2 project that we are committed to the fulfillment of the Panzer Strike project (261 backers), but we assumed that all this would be finished in 2021. Unfortunately, this process took an unexpectedly long time but now we can finally announce the delivery of Panzer Strike games in a few weeks.
As soon as we start shipping the Panzer Strike games, the authors will fully switch to Age of Dogfights. We hope that the backers will have an understanding for the announced delay, and we will do our best to start deliveries as soon as possible. Earlier, we revealed that the game, both in the rules and in the physical components it contains, will be more advanced than the variant that was presented during the campaign. We will publish more details about that in one of the following updates.
-----
While the authors are focused on the completion of the Panzer Strike project, our workers are busy producing other game elements, even some for the second shipping wave.
-----
Although none of the backers from the AoD1 project had any remarks, we are aware that a board consisting of three bi-fold segments can move a little while playing. That is why we decided to provide you with 4 plastic connectors (clips) in each set, with the help of which all parts of the board will be firmly joined to each other. These connectors will also be given to backers who ordered the game without a board, since they already have a board from the AoD1 game.
Orders locked
– Sat, Jan 08, 2022 at 09:06:39 PM
The orders in the pledge manager have been locked, and the pre-order store is closed.
We postponed the order lock date at the request of some bakers. As usual, not everyone answered the survey yet. In addition to regular automatic reminders sent by BackerKit pledge manager, we sent a special email to all those who did not respond, to which only a few bakers responded. At the time of closing, a total of 894 bakers responded to the survey (out of 998 bakers).
Even though the pre-order is closed and the orders are locked, the backers who haven't answered the survey yet can still do it later. Our request is to do it soon, because without their data (shipping address) we cannot send the packages.
---
Our wish to send the first wave of packages (basic game) by the end of 2021, proved to be unrealistic and due to various circumstances we did not succeed. As we announced at the beginning of the Kickstarter campaign, our team had the obligation to produce and deliver games from an older project – Panzer Strike – before fulfilling this project. We worked on the realization of both games in parallel, but we have been focusing on the Panzer Strike: Western Front 1 game for the last few weeks. We are very close to finishing production and the shipping of Panzer Strike 1 will start soon.
Many elements of the Age of Dogfights: WWII game are ready. We were worried about whether we would manage to produce quality printed altitude stands, but there were no problems. Thanks to our new associates ("Mašta" printing house from Belgrade), the printing on plastic is done well.
The epidemiological situation is deteriorating again all over the world, and we currently have one team member on sick leave for 7 days, and another of us is in isolation from recently. We are already used to working in difficult conditions, but due to the Corona and the increase in energy prices, we are once again indirectly damaged – since January 1, UPS has been forced to raise the prices of its services :-(. So far we have had uniform shipping prices for the whole world, and according to the new price list, there is zone 1 for European countries (price increased for $1.5–2), and zone 2 for almost all the other countries (increase for $7–8). All these unplanned costs will not affect the quality of production, because we will, as before, strive to provide maximum quality. We believe that such a principle will pay off in the long run.

Forsage Games is working diligently on the realization of this project. As we announced during the campaign, in parallel with the production of AoD WWII games, we are also working on the production of games from our previous project, Panzer Strike, which is overdue because of a number of both objective and subjective difficulties. Our production was slowed down for a two-week period because one member of the team had Covid, but we are now working at full capacity again. However, some of our associates still work at reduced capacity, so we have to wait a little longer for some components. An additional problem was the shortage of certain materials, so we were forced to look for alternative solutions. Luckily, we managed to acquire everything we need to complete the entire production (at increased prices, unfortunately :-().
Due to all of the above, we will probably not be able to start the first wave of shipping by the end of this year. Taking that into account, we decided to extend the pre-order period on BackerKit for a few more weeks (we had announced that it would last until December 1), which meets the requests of some backers to give them more time to add expansions at the Kickstarter exclusive price.
The next update will contain photos of the finished components, and now we present drawings of all the aircraft from the basic set.
Age of Dogfights:WWII meets Aeromat Watches (and other news)

As a small company, it makes us very proud when the originality and overall quality of the games get recognized by companies all around the world, especially when there is a possibility to collaborate on something really interesting.
Some time ago, we were approached by the awesome guys from Aeromat Watches, with whom we have a shared passion for aeronautics and WWII, and there seems to be a common ground for a project that will offer even more realism and immersion into the WWII period. There is no official agreement yet, due to our commitments to the fulfillment of this project and other pending tasks, but as soon as the horizon clears we will intensify the talks which should, hopefully, result in a joint campaign in 2022 that will bring additional content to Age of Dogfights: WWII. As soon as there are any updates on this, we’ll share the news, so make sure you follow us!
In the meantime, Aeromat watches has started today their first Kickstarter campaign, inspired by the X-15 aircraft and with Major General Joe H. Engle, the last living X-15 test pilot, and a renowned astronaut of the Space Shuttle Program as their ambassador. Don’t miss it!
We will use this opportunity to mention two more board game campaigns from the region.
1) Our friends from Serbia, Kerber Games, are in the middle of their first campaign for the fun party game Final Challenge. The campaign lasts for 12 more days, so be sure to check it out:
2) Our Slovenian friends have just launched a campaign for the 3-in-1 game Lookna which tests your skills and nerves in an exciting way:
-----------------------
In other news, the production of elements for AoD:WWII is going according to plan for the most part. The members of our team have been resisting the pandemic for a long time, however, for a few days now, Dragan has been Covid positive. He is being treated at home since it is a milder form, and we expect him to recover soon and to continue the work on the project. We believe that the first wave of shipping the basic AoD:WWII game will start before the end of this year, as we announced before.
All stretch goals achieved and support for our friends
over 3 years ago
– Fri, Oct 08, 2021 at 01:35:04 AM
As you already know, the pledge manager and pre-order on the BackerKit platform is underway. We are pleased that many backers are ordering a lot of expansions and add-ons. In terms of overall results (Kickstarter + BackerKit), this is our most successful campaign.
During the campaign, 7 of the 10 stretch goals were unlocked. As we announced, the total funds collected are counted, so the remaining three stretch goals are unlocked as well:
# 8 - $ 75000 - Transport aircraft:
# 9 - $ 85000 - Maritime patrol aircraft:
# 10 - $ 95000 - Unusual aircraft:
Miles M.39B Libellula was announced as the tenth stretch goal in the role of "unusual aircraft". That plane is unusual, but we decided to replace it, because it could not have any real role in the game. Instead, we included the American Bell YFM-1 Airacuda aircraft, which also has an unusual concept (three fuselages). More about this, as well as about all other planes, can be read in the brochure that will be an integral part of the game.
KICKSTARTER PROJECTS FROM SERBIA
Currently, two campaigns from Serbia are underway. The creators are our friends and in this way we want to help their projects to be seen by as many potential backers as possible. One campaign offers an interesting novel about the great scientist Nikola Tesla - LINK.
The second campaign is for a board game "Vojvodina" (Forsage Games is a manufacturer) - LINK.
