Age of Dogfights: WWII

Created by Forsage Games

A fast-paced, realistic simulation of WWII aerial combat. ____________________________________________________ The basic game will be shipped in the Wave 1. All other items (expansions, add-ons, etc.) will be shipped later – in the Wave 2. A separate shipping fee will be charged for each shipping wave, calculated by the package weight (using customary units - oz): <17oz (~0,5kg) = $18 <35oz (~1,0kg) = $20 <52oz (~1,5kg) = $22 <70oz (~2,0kg) = $24 <88oz (~2,5kg) = $26 <105oz (~3,0kg) = $28 <123oz (~3,5kg) = $31 <141oz (~4,0kg) = $33 <158oz (~4,5kg) = $35 <176oz (~5,0kg) = $37 >176oz (>5kg) = $41

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Important update
over 3 years ago – Thu, Jun 24, 2021 at 08:37:38 AM

We have been following all the comments about the games AoD:WWI and AoD:WWII very closely. We are proud that the games have been receiving praise for gameplay, originality and quality elements. However, we have noticed that some backers have objections because many components have to be assembled. The elements that seem to be particularly inconvenient are the small stickers (‘L’ altitude markers) which cannot be applied precisely without tweezers. That’s why we’ve been researching some possibilities in recent days and we’ve come up with a set of specific solutions that we think you'll like.

Improvements to the basic set

1. The ‘L’ marks on altitude stands will be printed:

All the vertical parts of altitude stands will come with already printed L marks!

2. Cloud markers with printed labels:

The plastic markers will have printed labels for the altitudes at which the clouds are located.

3. Task zones with printed ‘A, B, and C’ labels:

The letters on the task zones (the rectangular ones and the ones in the shape of a ship) will be printed in white.

These printed elements will be the standard for all our future projects.

New pledge level – Pre-assembled set

As we said above, all the sets will contain pre-printed altitude stands, clouds and task zone markers. In addition, we have decided to offer sets where the stickers of the aircraft, dice and speed indicators have already been applied.

The price of such a set will be $ 12 higher than the standard one – that is $ 70. For backers who want to buy the Pre-assembled set without the board, the price is $ 62.

New add-on –Printed dice

We have found new collaborators who can do high-quality printing on plastic surfaces.

Some backers have asked us to offer dice with sides already printed (instead of putting stickers). We have found high quality dice that are a bit larger (18 mm) than our standard dice (16 mm) but much more expensive, so we can't afford to include them in the standard AoD:WWII game. Therefore, a set of such dice will be offered as an add-on at a price of $ 9.

All the add-ons will be available in the pledge manager (BackerKit) several weeks after the Kickstarter campaign.

Third stretch goal unlocked
over 3 years ago – Tue, Jun 22, 2021 at 02:24:52 PM

Preparations for the start of the campaign were exhausting, so we needed a long rest. Now we will answer all questions in the comments. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

In the meantime, the third stretch goal was reached - Seaplanes.

Dornier Do 24 ×2 // Short Sunderland ×2

The fourth stretch goal is now active:

Fighter-bombers ($ 35,000)

Fw 190 F ×3 // Hawker Typhoon ×3

We are very happy with the large number of bakers on the first day of the campaign. Since we started this campaign without any paid advertising, your posts and sharing on social networks can significantly contribute to the even greater success of this project.
